How to create assessments

As an instructor, you would want to know how well your students have understood what you have taught. Hence, the need to create assessments for your students. Assessments help you know what your students understand well enough and those they struggle with. With the assessment feature in your course created using Pledre, you get to test your students knowledge of the course.

How it works

1. Go to your dashboard on https://pledre.com/dashboard
2. Navigate to courses and start a new course. You can also use an already existing course. After you have created a course, click on open class.
   
3. Click on the new content button and select the content type, quiz. Fill out relevant information i.e. content title and/or module. Click on the submit button to create the assessment/quiz content.
   
   
4. In setting your assessment/quiz, you can add a quiz title, which the students will see before taking the assessment.
   
   
5. For advanced settings, click More Settings
   
   Here you get to set:
   
   a.) Whether your students see results automatically once they submit.
   b.) The duration the assessment will last for.
   c.) Number of retries they get
   d.) Assessment Deadline
   
   
6. Click the add question type button and select a question type for your assessment; Multiple choice, Checkbox, Theory and File upload and fill the dialog boxes with your questions.
7. Hit Save to submit your questions.
